TYPICAL WARBLERs

  Order Passeriformes    Family Sylvidae

Sylviidae is a family of passerine birds that includes the typical warblers, parrotbills, the wrentit, and a number of babblers formerly placed within the Old World babbler family. They are found in Eurasia, Africa, and the west coast of North America. The parrotbills were previously placed in their own family Paradoxornithidae and the 2017 Clement's Checklist still places parrotbills in that family. In deference to Clement's, the parrotbills will still be given their own webpage.
