The long-tail tits, also known as bushtits, are small and generally drab birds with moderately long tails. All but one of the species (American Bushtit) are found in Eurasia. They are active birds, moving almost constantly while they forage for insects in shrubs and trees. During non-breeding season, birds live in flocks. There are 11 species in this family.
